A new artificial ski slope and ice-skating rink have opened up just near Lake Eymir. It's open all year round and individual ski classes cost a 100TL an hour. There is a coffee shop and you can hire ski gear. There is a large playground next door which will be opening shortly apparently. More information is available on its website.
There is a new Montessori childcare centre (Gardenya) that has opened up on Koza Soka, towards the top of the hill .
Children can start from 6 months.The options for care are "playgroup" (2 hours a day, up to 5 days a week), or part-time (8.30 - 1; 3 or 5 days a week) or full-time. There are english speaking staff. One of our families recommends the summer camp for children aged between 5 and 15 years at Efe Guray Foundation Sports Complex near Ikea.
